About 3D's Alpacas

New location! Olympia WA

We proudly breed and sell Huacaya Alpacas in a variety of natural colors. Our fundamental goal has continuously been to breed for conformational correctness and superior fiber. As our farm has matured, we are now starting to see the benefits of selective breeding for fleece in black, grey and fawn colors. We process the majority of our own fleece harvested each year into yarn and other handmade articles that we sell in our farm store.

Being a rather small farm, and having a desire to stay that way, has its advantages. First and foremost it provides the opportunity to spend a great deal of time with each of our alpacas. We are genuinely thoughtful of each Alpacas conformational values, fiber analysis statistics, and unique personality traits. All of which are prudently considered and factored into our breeding program. It also allows us to pay special attention to our clients’ individual needs, wants and desires. We offer on-going consulting and support to the new as well as experienced Alpaca owners.

Susan works full time on the farm caring for the Alpacas. John helps out as needed and is the President of the Alpaca Association of Western Washington.

Call today and arrange a farm visit to see for yourself what a wonderful lifestyle Alpaca farming can be.

Breeders of Champions

Our goal is to breed healthy Alpacas. We started breeding in 2005, and have added new and diverse blood lines ever since. We have one Champion herd sire; Patagonia's Ferro, silver grey. We also have a White, Dark Fawn and a True Black Herdsires. We focus our breeding program on conformational correctness and several fiber traits. If we produce a stunning grey or true black cria, well that's just the frosting on the cake! Our herd has grown to the optimum size for our small farm and through selective breeding we strive to continuously improve on the qualities of the animals produced.
